Early educators and practitioners on the front line have a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles, and contributing to tackling the obesity crisis. More than ever before, the sector must create a role for itself to ensure a positive, healthy and bright future for our children. The Conference will bring together a wide variety of providers of high quality training in Early Years physical activity.
The event will be a chance to bring together practitioners from early years settings to develop skills in delivering physical activity with very young children, in line with the requirements of the Early Years Physical Activity Guidelines and EYFS framework. The event will include keynote presentations from experts in the field as well as practical and theoretical workshops and a chance to network with colleagues from across the region.
Educating delegates to understand how physical activity can be used to develop the following areas in line with the EYFS framework:
- Communication and language
- Physical development
- Personal, social and emotional development
- During the day of the course there will be food available.
- Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for physical activity.
